School Can't Pathways works with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. We specialise in educational re-engagement for young people with ASD, mental health diagnoses, and complex needs — and we make the referral and reporting process as simple as possible for you.

Who We Support

Young people (ages 12–18) who have disengaged from mainstream education due to:

  • Anxiety disorders (including school-based anxiety and school refusal)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (including PDA profile)
  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges
  • Trauma (including school-based trauma)
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Chronic school refusal or minimal attendance (<50%)

How to Refer

Step 1: Discuss with Your Client

Explain School Can’t Pathways and provide them with our website or NDIS Funding Guide.

Step 2: Complete Referral Form

Submit our online Allied Health Referral Form (includes consent for information sharing).

Step 3: We Contact the Family

We contact the family within 48 hours to arrange a free consultation.

Step 4: Referral Outcome Report

We send you a referral outcome report (with consent) within 7 days.

What You Receive When You Refer

  • Referral Outcome Report (within 7 days): Summary of initial consultation, pathway recommendation, enrollment status
  • 8-Week Functional Capacity Assessment: Functional capacity indicators, progress toward NDIS goals, pathway recommendation, evidence of support effectiveness
  • Ongoing Progress Reports (with consent): Weekly session notes (available on request), monthly progress summaries, quarterly comprehensive reports, annual plan review reports
  • Collaboration Invitation: Shared care planning (with consent), regular communication, joint goal-setting
